We all have superpowers!

It’s time to work together to build strong self-esteem, self-awareness and a strong sense of community to achieve meaningful relationships with each other. This high energy incursion works well as a whole school incursion.

FOUNDATION TO YEAR 2 SUMMARY:

Welcome to Superhero Headquarters!
Come and join the MiniBOSS team for a SUPER incursion filled with heroes, disguises and some powerful dance moves! In this 90 minute (foundation) or half day (1/2) incursion students discover that anyone can be a superhero, including themselves. You don’t need super speed or laser vision to be a superhero; all you need are the everyday superpower skills of listening, voice, feelings, kindness, action and thinking. These character strengths can be used every day to help others, just like the superheroes they love. Students then get the opportunity to use their creativity to bring their superpowers to life.

YEAR 3 TO 6 SUMMARY:

Welcome to Superhero Headquarters!
Come and join the MiniBOSS team for SUPER incursion where students discover that anyone can be a superhero, including themselves. In this full day incursion students learn about character strengths and explore their superpowers through teamwork and collaboration. Students take part in team challenges and think about how their superpowers can help them overcome personal obstacles, then how to use them to support their wider school community. After the incursion students can take their superpowers back to their classrooms and continue to build their classroom communities and work together on shared goals.

The Superhero in You incursion has the advantage of having an optional “Buddy” program which gives foundation students the ability to work together with and bond with their older buddies.

Pricing

Prices range from $17-$27 per student plus GST (as of 1 July 2021). Package rates available for multiple year level bookings and whole of school programs. Minimum numbers apply, get in touch for more information.

Program Information

• “The Superhero in You” and “Super Buddies” programs can be booked as Full-Half Day incursions.
• This program can be run with up to 120 students at a time (speak to us about options for more students as this is also possible).
• A gymnasium, hall, or large open learning space will be required (Classrooms can be used for smaller groups).
• Access to powerpoints required.
• Access to a projector required.
• Student supervision by teachers is required throughout the session.
• All worksheets and supplies required to run the program are supplied by MiniBOSS.
